Canoe and kayak paddle tours
We would love to help any individual or group set up a canoe or
kayak paddling tour in Thailand, especially in our area.
We are not professional tour operators, nor do we want to be, but
we would be happy to deliver and pick up canoes and kayaks for the
river, lake, or sea paddling tour that you have in mind.
Of particular interest may be a 2-day paddle down the River Kwai
Noi from the town of Thong Pha Phum to right under the famous
Bridge Over The River Kwai at Kanchanaburi. It is a beautiful float,
passing through some wonderful scenery and touching such places as
Green World, about 20 klicks out of Thong Pha Phum, Hell's Fire
Pass on the infamous Japanese 'Death Railway', the much-visited
Tiger Temple and tiger refuge, and Muang Siang, a Kmer City ruin
occupied as late as the 14th century. There are numerous other
sights along the way, and several places to stop over-night ... you can
bring your camping gear and camp on the shore, or stay at places
such as Sam's Jungle House or the River Kwai Resort, a full-service
resort next to a Mon village, with Mon dancing shows and art exhibits.
